Comvita's Olive Leaf Immune Defence combines two of nature's well known ingredients Olive leaf Extract and Vitamin C, formulated for antioxidant and immune support. Olive Leaf Extract supports general wellbeing and Vitamin C can help reduce the duration and severity of common cold symptoms. Olive Leaf Extract and Vitamin C are two of nature's well-known antioxidants. Antioxidants reduce free radicals formed in the body.

Ingredients: Each capsule contains Olea europaea (Olive) Leaf extract dry 175mg equivalent to 1.75g of fresh leaf, providing 33mg Oleuropein and 100 micrograms of Hydroxytyrosol, plus 250mg Vitamin C as ascorbic acid.

Comvita Olive Leaf Extract is only made from our Fresh-Picked™ leaves on our Australian farms. We only use fresh leaves in our extracts, rather than dried leaves or reconstituted powders to preserve the quality of the Oleuropein. Scientific testing shows that liquid Olive Leaf Extracts made directly from fresh leaves have a broader spectrum potency. By using fresh leaves – harvested at sunrise, and concentrated before lunch – we avoid drying, damage and decay. It also means that we are not artificially boosting the compounds in isolation, we retain the balanced combination of antioxidants as found naturally in the original fresh leaf.

The 'natural balance' in a fresh olive leaf provides a more powerful free radical scavenging capacity than when the individual components are isolated – this involves a synergistic action between flavonoids, oleuropeosides and phenols.
