Steiff invented the Teddy bear in 1902. To mark the year of the Teddy bear, Steiff are enormously excited to introduce the Steiff Teddy bear family.
Like all mothers, Mama naturally loves her children very much, but mother of two Teddy bear children means she is constantly on guard for what misadventure befalls them next. She wears her Sunday best rosewood poplin dress, with a matching ruffle to compliment her family. Dark blond mohair with lighter shaded paw pads completes this most beautiful Teddy bear.
She is fully jointed and has a brown hand-stitched nose and claws.
Mama Bear is wearing an "Elephant Button" in their left ear, to celebrate the 120th birthday of the teddy bear.
