Kefir Kit - Mad Millie

Kefir is the latest craze and is building in popularity, so jump on board! It is a delicious healthy drink, containing eight strains of live kefir culture which are beneficial for your tummy and help you get the best out of your food.

Kefir can be made without milk too, so those with lactose intolerances can still reap the health rewards!

The Mad Millie Kefir kit contains all the specialised ingredients and equipment you need to make your own kefir at home. You can use low and full fat milk, soy, coconut water or fruit juice. Just add culture, shake, leave for 24 hours, and enjoy! (This kit is not suitable for water kefir.)

Drink on its own, pour over cereal or add to a smoothie, whatever you choose, it's easy, simple and delicious. With this kit you can also make Kefir Cheese too.

Included culture makes up to 6L of kefir and comes with stainless steel mixing ball, cheese cloth, 1L glass jar and instructions.

The culture is shelf stable for 8 months at temperatures under 25 degrees Celsius. However, we suggest storing cultures in the freezer when you get them in order to prolong the life of the culture. The culture contains a very small amount of dairy.
