The GOOD LIFE!!
Wednesday, November 12th, 2008SINCE I WAS A YOUNGSTER, I HAD A VISION THAT ONE DAY I WOULD LIVE WHAT I TERMED - THE *GOOD LIFE*!
Having watched in my youth a TV program titled ‘The Good Life’, I vowed that I would eventually fulfil my dream. What I envisioned this meaning to be was to live on acreage, in a stately ‘Old Queenslander’ home, surrounded by animals, growing a delicious garden jam-packed with wonderful food, and being as self-sufficient as possible.
My dream has been unfolding and we are now living the GOOD LIFE!!
Let me share with you just how this came to be ……
ONE MUST HAVE A DREAM IN LIFE - A GOAL TOWARDS WHICH THEY CONSTANTLY MOVE!
- Of course everyone has a very different goal and a different meaning of what they personally envision to be their own ‘Good Life’. My vision is as I have described, but yours may well be to have a Mansion on the Ocean, a Stable of European Sports Cars, to Travel to Exotic Lands whenever you feel inclined, or numerous other aspects of life that are of utmost importance to you in fulfilling your Life Dream! The actual content of the goal is not what is important …
BUT TO HAVE A GOAL AND TO WORK TOWARDS IT IS WHAT MATTERS!!
KEEPING YOUR MIND CONSTANTLY ON YOUR GOAL CAN BE DIFFICULT AS LIFE THROWS AT YOU MANY OBSTACLES
- BUT NEVER BE SWAYED … HOLD TIGHT TO YOUR VISION AND IT WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME A REALITY!
Around 2000, at the time I commenced seeking work via the Internet, I synchronistically (mysterious coincidences that bring information at just the right time) discovered a fabulous book -

This book gave me amazing insights and a thirst to live as shown in the book. In summary -

My goal during these torrid times is to achieve financial independence (house paid completely and no debts of any sort), and then to be completely self-sufficient …..
….. thus enabling my family to remove ourselves from the drag of society and to concentrate on achieving the state of living in Shambhala!
We are nearly there, but we needed to find a business that was going to inject large amounts of money in a very short space of time …. and we have found it!! I am very excited to think that with a group of like-minded people, all working towards the same type of goal of independence, we are able to assist each other so that we all have the financial security we need for this next period in our lives.

I have been through a great many of Life’s Trials and Tribulations and I have also been to the bottom on more than one occasion! Have you ever asked yourself why is it that some people seem to have everything come easily to them? … well, I have also queried that during my time here on Earth. What I have discovered though is that it doesn’t really matter, as we are each given our own lives to lead and we must do with them as best we are able - THAT is what is important and THAT is what will get you to the top!
TENACITY is a gift that is worth learning - Holding on to your Vision, no matter what the circumstances, will eventually carry you over the hardships. Treat the obstacles as though they are stepping stones, and don’t lose sight of the end of the Path - your GOAL!
Definitely, DON’T EVER GIVE UP!
Have you ever had a job that you felt was going to bring you undone? …. either send you crazy, or perhaps stress you more than is good for your health? I have as well - so I left that employment to work for myself. The move was a difficult one to make and it took me some time to come to the final decision - but, in retrospect, it was the best thing I could have done, as it shifted me onto a totally new path. My major reason for wanting to get out of a *job* was that I wanted to look after my children and not have to put them into a childcare establishment. Not only have I had my own business for the past 20-odd years, but I have also had the freedom to be with my family and I have consequently had the opportunity to home-school all 4 of my kids.
What attitude I would like to encourage in you is not to be afraid to make these types of moves in your life. Too many people spend their whole existence doing a job they really don’t enjoy, purely because they are afraid to make the decision to leave. They term it ’security’ - but that is a paradox. Unless you are the CEO of a major company and earning a mountain of money (and these days even that will not necessarily be secure), you will never reach your goals of owning your own property and cars, travelling whenever you wish and having the freedom to spend whatever money you feel, whenever you feel.
The Ticket to Freedom in this society is to be Independent! DON’T work for a boss in a job that only offers you a wage that barely manages to pay your mortgage. Operating your OWN BUSINESS really is the only way in which you will ever have Total Control over your income.
Having lost everything, including my house and business, I can be totally honest in telling you that it is definitely possible to get back on top and to also make an income on the Internet! Forced into a situation of living in a bus and caravan, and also in more rental properties than I choose to remember, I had to find some form of employment that I was able to do from the very limited conditions of a rural address - I decided that the Internet was the answer. Since the year 2000, I have been through many experiences in that learning curve - including some not so good. The lesson here is that of Discernment! There are a torrent of supposed businesses available, so how does one know which to choose?
