Trading Terms, Business Policies and Postage Details
Please read these terms prior to purchasing so that you understand our policies of trade. If you have any further queries, please feel free to email us. We look forward to sharing business with you and thank you for your interest.
We
primarily use three shipping amounts, within
Australia:
* Small - under 500gms
* Large - over 500gms-3kgs
* Extra Large (heavy books, etc)
EXPRESS Satchels can be used if requested, for a couple of dollars extra. Please ensure you request these if desired. Also note that even though they say they are guaranteed next day delivery, this is not the case on many occasions ... see the fine print on the back of the satchel! It is really only capital city to capital city ... and our business is not located in a capital city. This method is the fastest available though, so if you need your item in a major hurry, this may be the best choice for you. In addition, it does offer a number for tracing a wayward parcel. If the item won't fit in the satchel, standard Express rates are a lot more expensive.
Depending upon your location, the postal charges may alter, although in most instances we subsidise the postage. We will let you know if there needs to be an adjustment. International Insurance or Registered Australian Mail is available (and recommended) as an additional option on all items. Please email us with your postcode or country for an accurate price on any items in which you have an interest and that may not have explicit postage costs displayed. International Postal rates are shown further down this page.

The way we structure a Lay-By is that the sales go through as per normal. We then draw up the agreed payment terms. We put our lay-by purchases through our Nature's Wonderland Shop - not eBay! Other than for International sales, Direct Bank Deposit is our payment method thanks, because Credit Cards attract such high fees on each payment made.

of 500gms is AU$6.00. 500g to 3kg costs $10.00. Larger parcels are calculated according to the weight and volume, but our most common postage price is $15.00. |

For most International destinations - up
to the weight of 250gms is AU$10.00 Airmail and up to
the weight of 500gms is AU$16.00. The price is
dependant upon your country, so please check
with us for an exact price. |

We are more than happy to combine
postage on all of your purchases to save
YOU on postage, so please
email us to let us know if you
are purchasing more than one item. International postage is also
more affordable when several items are mailed in the
one parcel.
As Postage costs may alter, dependant upon the goods being sent, definite Postage Costs will be confirmed at the close of the sale, after the buyer contacts us with the destination details. Feel free to email us with your location and we will give you a postage estimate before you purchase, if you'd prefer.
Even though we take the utmost care with packaging, we take no responsibility for transit, so you are well advised to register or insure the mail article. This is solely your responsibility if you choose not to take this insurance, so please do not come back to us and claim that you either didn't receive your parcel or that it was broken - this is what Insurance is for!!
Registered mail within Australia is an additional $3.00 for the first $100.00 and an extra $1.50 for each additional $100.00 ... this means that an item valued at $175.00 will attract a registered mail cost of $4.50.
International parcels may be insured at a cost of AU$9.00 for the first AU$100.00 and an additional couple of dollars per AU$100.00 thereafter.

PAYPAL IS NOT A PREFERRED FORM OF PAYMENT, DUE TO THE HIGH FEES WE ARE CHARGED ..... PLEASE USE DIRECT DEPOSIT INSTEAD, WITH NO FEES, OR ALTERNATIVELY, WE OFFER OUR OWN MERCHANT CARD SERVICE !! UNFORTUNATELY WE LIVE IN A CREDIT CARD SOCIETY .... BUT IT IS US (THE SHOPS) WHO MUST CARRY THE FEES CHARGED BY THE BANKS.
Because the PayPal fees are so exorbitant, as well as keeping policies to which we do not align, we sincerely appreciate your adherence to this part of our payment policy, although we do have it as a listed option if you deem it absolutely necessary to use.
For those who do use PayPal, please only make the one payment if you are multi-purchasing, because we receive a fee on each transaction.
Goods will be sent as soon as funds have been cleared and are in our account.
We have included a Currency Converter at the foot of each of our eBay item pages to assist Internationals to convert the Australian Dollars quoted in the listings to their own currency. In addition, our Shop has several currency choices available from the right-hand side column ... choose your preferred currency and all items within the Shop will then be shown in that currency. Payment is always made in Australian Dollars though thanks. PayPal now automatically invoices the items in Australian Dollars, and the transactions are also handled in Australian Dollars, so there is no longer any need for conversions at the point of sale .... certainly this makes for a simple and quick transaction.
Any transactions, either on or off eBay, are very smooth using Direct Bank Deposit.
Quick and Easy Bank Deposit Payments. Completing your purchases is easy and fast with Direct Bank Deposit. We provide our bank account information to the buyer in an email received at the close of the sale, as well as in the Checkout. Once the transaction is completed, the buyer immediately deposits money to pay for the item. Shortly thereafter, (between 1-2 days, depending upon the banks involved) the money appears in our bank account, and we post the item to the buyer.
For all Australian purchases, Direct Deposit is our preferred method of payment please.
Credit Cards:
We have our own Merchant facility for all your Credit Card purchases. Australians please note that for purchases under the value of $50.00 we request that you use Direct Deposit please, due to the fees we receive.
PayPal:
Please be aware that we are charged extravagant PayPal fees, so please do not use PayPal unless you have no other option --- and definitely not for small transactions.
